First Stand

The newest addition to League of Legends major tournaments is the First Stand tournament. Taking place at the end of the Esports season, the first edition of this tournament took place in March 2025 and saw Hanwha Life Esports win the inaugural competition. The LCK side beat LEC’s Karmine Corp 3-1.

Five teams take part in First Stand, with the location of each event changing every year. In 2026, the First Stand tournament will take place in Brazil.
