This is a bet placed on which batsman will score the most runs in either the whole game or on choosing one batsman to top score for their particular team.

For instance, you bet that England will score over 300 runs in a match and they score 325/8 your bet will be a winner.
A prediction of this type is made based on who we believe will be the final victors in a chosen competition. This can be the final league winners or the winners of a tournament like one of the World Cups. Finally the prediction might cover who we believe will win a test match series (for instance the Ashes) usually played between two nations as a best of 5 day matches.
